Write a Letter

Dear Me, 

          It says I am to write a letter to someone I love. I decided to write a letter to me, and make this upcoming year the year to love me. I have never been really good about that. For 55 years I have tolerated me or hated me, I never really loved me. That really needs to change. Perhaps then I can accomplish my physical goals. I put way too much stress on me about looking bad, so much so that I am feeling bad. It is definitely affecting my attitudes. I do entirely too much negative self talk, I need to practice more positive self talk, even when it seems totally silly. How can others love and respect me if I don't love and respect me??? So this coming year we are going to give myself a bit of grace, I am 55 years old, I have earned it. Now Play Nice.
