2023 was a quick year. It came and went in the blink of an eye it seems. I bought my very first brand new car this year, my daughter started high school this year. We had no major illnesses this year. I had a whole year of no college for me. I managed to pay off a few credit cards. Okay it was a boring year LOL but that is not necessarily a bad thing.
Off to work tonight, just for one night. Then I have tomorrow off to celebrate the new year with my kids. Nothing big planned. I have a mystery game for us to play and some poppers to explode. This week has been spent putting away or throwing away anything we did not use recently. All my holiday stuff is packed away. Biggest problem currently is I cannot find my generic bathroom stuff LOL I swear I am so good at hiding stuff from myself. It is ridiculous how good I am at it.
Oh my silliness extends to check writing LOL today, for the first time in YEARS I wrote a check :) my HOA charges fees to pay our dues online, and I just don't want to pay any extra money. So I found my old checks, bought some stamps, and tried to remember how to fill out a check LOL we even had to walk it out to the mailbox to send LOL it was all quite funny to me and my kids going so old school.
