I made it to November. Came way too fast this year. This whole year just flew by, just like my vacation. Last night's trick or treating was a big success. We put together a dragon cave with lots of lights and two inflatable dragons. It looked really cool. We had hundreds of kids and adults show up looking for candy LOL. Nobody was turned away with an empty bucket. My boss even showed up with her baby. My neighbor blasted Halloween themed songs all night, so the atmosphere was fun as well. It was great.
Now, back to normal routine. Ex hubby is gone, so no more worrying about how to entertain him for me or my son. We finally convinced him to not come here next year, instead let our son meet him somewhere else to explore. Solves two issues. My son gets to explore new area, outside of Florida, and ex-hubby doesn't bother me. He tries to not bother me, is very polite and nice, but still it's my ex LOL. I can manage perfectly fine without seeing him.
It is funny, I did so much cleaning and prepping house for Autumn and visit from ex, that I am exhausted. We managed to go to a huge craft fair, explored a corn maze, and did various other staycation activities as well. My son also got to do a lot of day trips to Tarpon Springs, Saint Augustine, and Animal Kingdom. Movies and food trucks filled in the other spots. Very busy vacation. Every day I would tell myself to relax, but I never listened LOL. I'm going to work hard on the relaxing part these next four days before work, so I am rested before facing the crazies at work. So not looking forward to that. I would love nothing more than to be a stay at home mom. If only I could afford it...
